Elon Musk’ Boring Company Announced Its Third Gen Machine is Working During a launch event in December 2018, Elon Musk announced that its company is working on a third-generation Boring machine, named Prufrock. The Boring Company has deployed its unique tunnel boring machine and it integrates a few great innovations, so the dream of ultra-high-speed tunnels for transporting vehicles underground is even closer.
